Mary Barbour Award open for nominations
Do you know someone who has made a positive impact on a Glasgow community?
Parkhead Housing Association is delighted to announce that the third Annual Mary Barbour Award is now open for nominations.
The award has been created to pay homage to social activist Mary Barbour and to celebrate local women who follow in her footsteps.
The judges are interested in hearing about women who dedicate time and effort campaigning for what they believe in, making a positive contribution to communities within Glasgow. They would like to hear about the campaign/campaigns your nominee has played a part in, their roles within the campaign and how this has impacted on the local community.
Parkhead Housing Association hopes that you will join it in celebrating Glasgow’s unsung heroes, giving them the recognition that they deserve.
