PoLHA Introduces a New Social Enterprise
Quay Community Improvements is Port of Leith Housing Association’s (PoLHA) latest group company to set sail.
Set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC), this new social enterprise will launch with stair cleaning services in late 2016. The company is founded on the principle that profits will be ploughed back into physical, social and economic regeneration opportunities in Leith and surrounding areas.
Margaret O’Connor, Chair of the PoLHA Board, said:
“This new social enterprise allows us to extend our services and further benefit the communities we already serve.”
David Welsh, Chair of the CIC Board, said:
