Regulator publishes updated advice for RSL governing bodies during Covid-19
Update looks at legislative changes and gives advice on tenant satisfaction surveys during the pandemic.
The Scottish Housing Regulator has published updated advisory guidance for RSL governing bodies during Covid-19.
The regulator’s update takes into account changes introduced by recent legislation, including extended timescales for RSLs to hold virtual annual general meetings and special general meetings. It also gives advice about carrying out tenant satisfaction surveys during the pandemic.
The regulator first published the advice in April 2020 to help support governing body members in their work during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Margaret Sharkey, Assistant Director of Regulation, Scottish Housing Regulator, said: “We’ve updated our advice for RSL governing body members to continue to support them during the Covid-19 pandemic.
"It covers the things governing body members have asked us about, including more information on tenant satisfaction surveys.
"We will keep the guidance under review. We hope that RSL governing body members find it useful as they continue to manage the challenges of the pandemic.”
The updated advice for RSL governing body members during COVID-19 is available on the Regulator’s website.
