Reidvale Housing Association has decided to seek a formal partnership through a transfer of engagements to a larger RSL.
The Glasgow landlord employs 17 staff, owns and manages 897 homes and provides factoring services to 232 home owners.
It has been engaging with the Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) following the identification of governance compliance failures in 2019 and has since been conducting various reviews to understand its position on compliance with SHR’s Regulatory Standards, its financial position, and its wider performance context.
As a result of this work Management Committee instructed an options appraisal to be carried out to consider the future of RHA and how best to ensure RHA can deliver the best for their tenants. After detailed consideration, advice and assessment, the recommendation that was agreed by the Management Committee was to seek expressions of interest from organisations that wish to become its transfer partner.
