Increasing energy efficiency in homes has a vital role to play in housing associations providing affordable warmth, reducing fuel bills and in helping the sector meet the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing – but how do we ensure that cavity wall insulation is appropriate for a building and ensure that we get the installation right?

At the next SFHA Property Maintenance Forum meeting, Marcus Fookes of BBACIT will give a talk on retrofitting cavity wall insulation. The talk will cover:

  • Pre-assessing properties
  • The installation process
  • Timescales
  • What happens when insulation is installed incorrectly or put in an unsuitable property?

Come along to hear dos, don’ts and top tips from an industry expert.

Please contact SFHA Policy Lead David Stewart dstewart@sfha.co.uk to confirm your attendance.
