Scottish Commission for Learning Disability (SCLD) and ALACHO are hosting an event, ‘Gathering in the car park – embarking on a journey of courage, collaboration and shared values to realise the right to community living for all’, during learning disability week.
This event seeks to bring together partners from across housing, social care, health, and government; hear directly from individuals and families about their experiences; and explore approaches to achieving the bespoke solutions which need to underpin national policy around delayed discharge and out-of-area placements.
