Supply chain and IT Peripherals customer survey update.
Scottish Procurement is aware that a small number of customers have experienced extended lead times for client device orders recently. In the calendar year 2020, around 317,000 devices were ordered through its frameworks, a 65% increase on 2019’s demand. Although thousands of devices are being shipped every week, there continues to be global supply chain constraints and logistical challenges, as suppliers compete with other industry sectors for the same components and manufacturing capacity.
The ICT Products Team is working closely with framework customers and suppliers to resolve the extended lead time issues and identify solutions or alternative devices from their distribution network.

IT Peripherals customer survey
The ICT Products Team has produced a customer survey in preparation for the IT Peripherals framework re-let strategy.
