Scottish Water launches new ASTRO System

Further details on new customer portal.

Posted In

Scottish Water mentioned at its customer engagement sessions, that it would not be possible to have all of the information you require loaded on to the new ASTRO System at go-live. It did, however, commit to getting the data cleansed and in the appropriate status on the portal where reasonably possible. Scottish Water has confirmed it aims to finish this exercise by 15 May 2020, therefore, making the system complete and providing you with the information and service you require.

A considerable amount of data was cleansed and migrated automatically during the project, however, further data requires to be manually uploaded or moved to the correct status.

Work on all of the above is resourced and ongoing, and the information on the portal will improve over the next four-week period.

Scottish Water appreciates your patience while will it implements this measure of improvement.

In order to support you as much as possible to transition over to this new way of working, Scottish Water has created a short video which offers guidance and covers the following topics:

  • registering for the portal

  • submitting Pre-Development enquiry

  • submitting a water application

  • facilitation application

  • Reasonable Cost Contributions application

You can access the video via this link.

The password to watch the video is ProjectAstro2019
