SPA named as finalist in Government Opportunities Excellence in Public Procurement Awards
The GO Awards Scotland are Scotland’s national procurement awards and part of Scotland’s Annual Festival of Procurement.
SPA is proud to announce that it has been honoured as a finalist in the Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2019/20 Scotland. SPA has been shortlisted, in partnership with Lintel Trust, for its Community Benefit Fund, which provides grants to eligible SPA partners for projects within their communities.
The following partners have utilised the fund for their communities so far: Barrhead Housing Association, Angus Council, Cairn Housing Association, Clyde Valley Housing Association, Dundee City Council, East Lothian Council, Hawthorn Housing Co-Operative, Linstone Housing Association, Paisley Housing Association, Perth & Kinross Council, River Clyde Homes, South Ayrshire Council, South Lanarkshire Council, and the Wheatley Group.
Hosted and organised by BiP Solutions Ltd and supported by the Scottish Government, the GO Awards Scotland are Scotland’s national procurement awards and part of Scotland’s Annual Festival of Procurement. The GO Awards Scotland celebrate excellence and innovation in all aspects of procurement, recognising outstanding achievement from the public, private and third sectors.
SPA is pleased to join other finalists in the Social Value category. The 10 awards categories
celebrate achievements in service delivery, teamwork, market development and more. The GO Awards Scotland Excellence Award will also be presented on the evening to the outstanding winning entry from across all categories.
All finalists are invited to attend an awards presentation ceremony, held at the Marriott Hotel, Glasgow, on Tuesday 29 October, alongside fellow procurement leaders.
The judging panel for the GO Awards Scotland is made up of seven of the country’s leading procurement experts.
