TPAS to explore how to tackle climate emergency

Scottish Housing Day will take place on Wednesday 15 September 2021 and will explore the theme of climate change.

TPAS Scotland will host three days of online events, where it will explore how we can all play our part in tackling the climate emergency, as part of Scottish Housing Day.

This year’s Scottish Housing Day is focused on encouraging people to think about the role which they and their homes play in contributing to tackling the climate emergency.

The events will run between 13 to 15 September and will explore strategies to improve our carbon footprint. Each event will take place from 09:00 to 10:30.

Elaine Scoular, Head of Operations at TPAS, said: “We all need to do our bit to tackle climate emergency, and the housing sector has a key role to play.

"With Cop26 being held in Glasgow this year, there’s an appetite across multiple organisations to develop strategies for change that can make a real impact on our everyday lives.

"We are looking forward to our three days of interesting speakers and workshops, exploring some of the areas that are already making an impact on society and others that will drive positive change in the future.”

The full programme and booking details can be found on the TPAS Scotland website.
