Will your housing association take the Social Impact pledge?

The Scottish Government’s Social Impact Pledge asks public sector organisations to commit to doing things a bit differently. The Social Impact Pledge asks organisations to consider doing three things to increase the positive impact they make on their local community and make better use of all their assets – buildings/grounds and people.

The Scottish Government and the Scottish Community Development Centre have created webpages that explain the pledge in more detail. As part of the site there is an inspiration section that helps organisations to see what is possible, as well as to allow communities to get more detail about the work that is going on in their communities.

The Scottish Government is looking for housing associations to sign up to the pledge and provide short blogs with pictures for the Social Impact site outlining what your housing association is doing to meet the pledge and the positive impact that these actions are having on the community.
