Work begins on Cordale Housing Association’s new office
New office based in Renton.
Cordale Housing Association is delighted to see work start on its new office, with the demolition of the former Main Street shops.
The new office site is based in the heart of Renton and improves resident access to Cordale’s services whilst revitalising Main Street, replacing the long-standing dilapidated and empty shops, and transforming the physical appearance of the area.
The new office is expected to open in late 2018.
Margaret McCallion, Chairperson of Cordale Housing Association, said:
“The development of the new office is very important for Cordale Housing Association. It will improve access and the services we offer our tenants, establish a better working environment for staff and will regenerate the main through way in Renton.
“This development shows how far we have come since the development of our partnership with Caledonia Housing Association.
“As well as the building of a new office, Cordale and Caledonia plan to bring a significant number of new affordable homes to Renton and Alexandria in the next couple of years.”
