Young football team score a winner thanks to Elderpark Housing
Elderpark Housing sponsors football team.
Elderpark FC has taken delivery of a brand new strip thanks to the housing association which bears their name.
Elderpark Housing has provided the team with an eye-catching kit after becoming their sponsor for another year.
And this week it got its first outing as the team played in their new strip for the first time and won the match with a score of 9–4.
The boys – all aged under-15 – play in the Paisley and Johnstone District Youth Football League.
Like all young people, they grow out of their strips quickly and, due to kit being expensive, it can often be a challenge to keep the team looking their best.
The new strips proudly display the logo of Elderpark Housing.
The team plays their home matches at the Glasgow Club Drumyone.
Team Manager Eddie McGroarty said: “The boys are delighted with their new strip. They are proud to show their connection to Elderpark Housing.”
Jim Fraser, Estate Management Inspector, Elderpark Housing added: “We’re delighted to have helped out the Elderpark boys as their strip sponsor for another year. They are a talented and enthusiastic team, and we wish them well.”
