Chairs play a crucial and distinctive role providing effective leadership to the organisation, all the while managing what can be challenging relationships with a wide variety of people and personalities.
The SFHA’s Chairs’ Conference aims to support you in your skilled and demanding role. With input from a steering group of chairs from within the sector, the SFHA is aiming to create a conference led by you, for you, so that you have a confidential and comfortable space to encourage reflection, stimulate discussion and inspire change.
On Friday afternoon, delegates will be joined by George Walker, Chair; Anne Jarvie, Deputy Chair and Michael Cameron, Chief Executive of Scottish Housing Regulator who will outline the content and scope of the review of its regulatory framework – with an initial discussion paper due to be released in January 2018. This will provide an early opportunity for delegates to shape how they would like to see regulation of the sector operate moving forward.
Taking place this week on 26 and 27 January 2018 at Westerwood Hotel in Cumbernauld, this year’s conference will provide an opportunity for both speakers and delegates to challenge traditional ways of dealing with issues as well as think afresh about how things are done.
