Posted In

We are recruiting for three SFHA board directors who represent one of the following constituencies:

  • City of Glasgow
  • Other Cities
  • Rural and Islands

SFHA board director

The role of a board director is essential to the effective running of the SFHA and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of Scotland's national membership body for housing associations and co-operatives at a critical time for the social housing sector.

More information can be found by clicking here to see the role profile.

Chair of the SFHA Board

This year, there is an additional opportunity for applicants to express their interest to be considered as the next chair of the SFHA Board. The chair will have a number of responsibilities, including ensuring SFHA and member compliance to statutory obligations and regulations; representing our membership, its collective goals and all relevant stakeholders internally and externally; and helping build the organisation’s profile and achieve success.

It is key that the chair of the board is not only creative and forward-thinking in their approach, but they should also be consciously and continuously developing their skills and breadth of knowledge of our members for the benefit of all relevant stakeholders. This is a high profile role and we’re looking for someone who will be visible and can represent SFHA with various stakeholders, at all levels, including with members, tenants and government ministers.

Further details for this position can be found clicking here to see the role profile.
