Bulk reporting of April rent changes to DWP faces setback
The proposal for landlords to be able to transfer to the DWP details of rent changes for claimants on Universal Credit has been hit by delays.
In a message sent to all users of the landlord portal, the DWP have advised that, rather than have a file for download ready by mid-April as had originally been planned, the downloadable file will be made available in May “to a small number of landlords” in order to “test the download and subsequent upload functionality of the completed file on a small scale to ensure that the overall landlord portal service is not affected.”
