Changes to SFHA Board
Steve Delaney steps down from SFHA Board and David Lappin is co-opted on.
At the SFHA Board meeting last week, Steve Delaney, Governing Body Member for Grampian Housing Association, stood down from his position of Board Director with SFHA, having served on the Board for four years, moving on to other commitments.
David Lappin, Chief Executive of Castlehill Housing Association, was co-opted on to the SFHA Board for the Other Cities constituency, which also includes Jason MacGilp, Cairn Housing Association and Gerry O’Sullivan, Bield Housing Association.
Steve joined the Board in 2013 and then took up position of Chair in 2014 until August 2017. The SFHA would like to thank Steve for his commitment and contribution and, in particular, in his role as Chair. Steve will continue to be a great advocate for SFHA and the sector.
SFHA and its Board Directors welcome David to the Board and look forward to working with him. David brings a wide range of skills, including strategic planning, housing policy and practice, and he has a long track record participating in forums, such as RIHAF, and through various policy working groups.
