Closing today: SFHA Mid-Market Rent Development of the Year Award

Last chance to enter.

Posted In

SFHA is proud to support members providing mid-market rent homes to people in housing need. The SFHA Mid-Market Rent Conference welcomes a new feature this year – the Mid-Market Development of the Year Award.

Mid-Market rent is now an important part of the affordable housing landscape. The SFHA Mid-Market Rent Development of the Year highlights the growing contribution mid-market rent homes make to meeting housing need for people on moderate incomes.

The award provides an opportunity for housing associations across Scotland to gain recognition for the work they are doing in the mid-market rent sector.

Delegates at the Mid-Market Rent Conference on 26 April will be asked to shortlist the top three developments, and the winner will be decided at the SFHA Annual Conference in June 2018.

How to enter
Developments will be displayed throughout the Mid-Market Rent Conference on a PowerPoint presentation.

Each organisation will be allowed to enter up to three developments, with a maximum of five slides per development.

To enter, email SFHA Policy Lead Zhan McIntyre on zmcintyre@sfha.co.uk by close of play today (Friday 20 April) with:

  • Good quality images of the development (maximum of three developments)
  • Organisation logo
  • Cost per development, average rent and any special design features that you would like to highlight.

Entry criteria
The development should have been completed between March 2017 and March 2018 and it must contain homes that are mid-market rent properties.

This competition is open to SFHA members only.

Delegates at the Mid-Market Rent Conference on 26 April will be asked to vote for their top choice.

Zhan McIntyre, SFHA policy lead,  said:

“We have already had some great entries.

“We have extended the deadline to give all SFHA members a chance to get their entries to us to be in for a chance of winning this inaugural competition.

“Email your entries to me by 20 April. Good luck.”
