Could your rural development win Development of the Year?
Exciting new award for rural and islands housing associations.
The Rural and Islands Housing Associations Forum (RIHAF) is pleased to announce that this year’s Scottish Rural and Islands Housing Conference boasts a brand new feature. Conference delegates will have the chance to enter one of their rural developments to win the Development of the Year Award.
Entering your development is easy – all you need to do is bring along a one-sided A3 poster that features an image of your entry as well as text describing it and explaining why your development should win.
Alternatively, you can enter in advance by emailing your entry to Karen Devin, SFHA Events Producer email@example.com Entrants who submit their entries in advance will be offered the chance to feature on the SFHA’s online platforms, so don’t delay your entries! This is a great opportunity to give your new developments some exposure and honour the hard work behind them.
The winner will be decided by your fellow conference delegates and the award will be presented on the Friday morning of the event.
The event commences with the pre-conference RIHAF meeting and study tour led by host organisation East Lothian Housing Association on Wednesday 26 October and is followed by two days brimming with informative presentations and workshops centred on a range of important issues concerning rural housing and communities in Scotland.
To qualify as an entrant, your development must have been completed onsite between March 2016 and March 2017 and be located in a rural location. For more information on the award and to book your place at the conference please visit the SFHA website or alternatively contact firstname.lastname@example.org
