Don’t miss your chance to be ‘lobbied’ by Housing Minister and opposition housing spokespeople
Workshop to see politicians lobby conference delegates
SFHA, and its members, regularly lobby Scottish politicians, but during a unique workshop session at this year’s Annual Conference, the tables will be turned!
Come along to be ‘lobbied’ by the housing spokespeople from each of the main political parties. The speakers, comprising MSPs and councillors, will share their views on, and hopes for, the sector. Be prepared to hear what they like about what we do – as well as what they think we could do better.
Their speeches will be followed by a Q&A.
The SFHA is delighted to confirm the speakers so far as:
- Kevin Stewart MSP, Scottish Government Minister for Local Government and Housing
- Graham Simpson MSP, Conservative Party Housing Spokesperson
- Pauline McNeill MSP, Scottish Labour Party Housing Spokesperson
- Councillor Christy Mearns, Scottish Green Party Councillor on Glasgow City Council’s Neighbourhoods, Housing and Public Realm City Policy Committee
- Councillor Peter Barrett, Scottish Liberal Democrats Councillor, Convenor of Perth and Kinross Council Housing and Communities Committee.
Don’t miss your chance to attend. Book a place at the SFHA’s Annual Conference, taking place on June 12 and 13 at Glasgow’s Radisson Blu Hotel, by visiting the SFHA website.
