DWP announces UC full service rollout schedule

The DWP which has so far only managed a national rollout of the live service for Universal Credit, has announced its schedule for the full service roll out. Unlike the live service, which is largely limited to single claimants meeting gateway criteria, the full service will handle all claims for Universal Credit, with the six legacy benefits, including Housing Benefit, no longer being available to new claimants where the full service is available.

So far 5 of the 70 odd Job Centres in Scotland run the full service, with three of these only coming online in November. Details of the rollout can be found here.
