16 and 17 November 2021, Crieff Hydro Hotel.

Posted In

Without a doubt, the coronavirus pandemic has changed our organisations, and how we work, forever. During the closing session at SFHA's Finance Conference, key members of the Social Housing Resilience Group, which was convened at the start of the pandemic by the federation to ensure social landlords could keep delivering for their tenants, will discuss the lessons they learned regarding ensuring financial and operational resilience.

The panel, which will feature Sally Thomas, SFHA Chief Executive; Michael Cameron, Chief Executive of the Scottish Housing Regulator; and Colin MacBean, Deputy Director of More Homes Division at Scottish Government, will discuss how we can work together effectively to ensure the sector remains resilient and is prepared for future challenges.

Conference sessions

The conference will feature sessions for staff working in finance, IT and digital, corporate services and HR, including:

  • How to connect your digital decisions to your customer offer
  • The cost of IT and digital for housing
  • How to make effective financial decisions
  • Legal clinic
  • Coaching skills and how to embed them in your organisation
  • Best practice in rent reviews
