The Scottish Rural and Islands Housing Conference, taking place on the 31 October & 1 November in Dumfries, covers a range of topical issues concerning rural housing and communities in Scotland.

Here are our five reasons to attend:

1 Hear Jeremy Sainsbury OBE from Natural Power talk about Rural Housing in the Future

2 Find out more about Intergenerational Thinking in Housing from Lorraine Usher of Loreburn Housing Association

3 Instead of the pre-conference study tour, come along join us for Loreburn Housing Associations showcase!

4 Hear Andy Dean from Community Action Northumberland open the conference with his talk on Engaging Communities

5 Network with colleagues old and new from one side of Scotland to another!

This year’s conference takes place on the 31 October & 1 November with the pre-conference showcase taking place on the 30 October. The conference will be held over two venues with the meeting and dinner at Easterbrook Hall and accommodation at the Holiday Inn Dumfries which is adjacent to the conference venue.

Residential bookings are from £425.00 for RIHAF members or £495 for non-members. For more information or to book your place, please click here.
