Five reasons to attend SFHA Finance Conference
12–13 November, Crieff Hydro.
The SFHA’s Finance Conference takes place on 12–13 November at Crieff Hydro and is the key event for finance professionals who work in, or with, the housing sector.
Here are five reasons why you shouldn’t miss this year’s event:
1. Hear from inspirational speaker Adrian Webster
To start the conference, delegates will hear from motivational speaker Adrian Webster. Witty, engaging and energetic, Adrian inspires individuals, transforms teams and electrifies entire organisations with his simple but highly effective philosophy on Tiny Noticeable Things (TNTs) and the shape of integrity.
2. Find out more about what the future could hold for finance post-2021
This panel session will discuss the progress of the current housing programme as well as what work to date on creating a vision for housing in 2040 and the options, choices and investment required to get there.
3. Conference exhibition
The exhibition forms the networking hub of the conference, and this year’s event boasts over 30 exhibitors. Come along and network with colleagues old and new.
4. Hear economist John McClaren’s Brexit update
The economic and political future of the UK is uncertain. This year’s conference will hear from economist John McClaren who will share his views on the future of the UK economy and its impact on the social housing sector.
5. Find out all you need to know about financial risk and stress testing
Come along to Paul McNeil’s workshop to learn more about how financial risks materialise, how to quantify financial risk and how to conduct appropriate stress testing and analysis.
This year’s conference returns to Crieff Hydro in Perthshire, located just over an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Day delegate rates are from £280 or why not book three places and receive a fourth day place for free.
