Full programme announced for this year’s Finance Conference

13 & 14 November, Crieff Hydro Hotel, Perthshire.

The way housing associations do business is changing like never before. Technology and innovation, as well as legislative changes, mean day-to-day work is evolving. How do we make sure we can adapt to these changes?

This year’s SFHA Finance Conference will focus on the future of finance, and the full programme for the event has now been announced.

The conference will offer practical sessions which aim to both inform and inspire and will kick off with delegates hearing from a digital innovator.

Workshops will cover practical areas of work for finance staff and, for the first time ever, this year the conference will incorporate the wider work of many finance directors including a session on HR for Non HR People. We will also hear from RSLs who have secured private finance as they tell about the process and pitfalls.

Other highlights of the conference include the view from the Regulator, digitalisation of housing, managing risk, pensions, the changing role of the finance manager, GDPR, and treasury management changes.

This year’s conference returns to Crieff Hydro in Perthshire, located just over an hour’s drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow, and takes place on 13 and 14 November.

Book before Wednesday 26 September to receive a residential place for £550, a saving of £30 (SFHA members)! Or come as a day delegate for as little as £270. You can also bring a colleague for free when you book three places – places are limited so don’t delay in booking your spot!
