General Data Protection Regulations – One Year On
GDPR came into force in May 2018, but much has moved on since then. For example, Freedom Of Information extension has implications under Data Protection law as well, such as the need to appoint a Data Protection Officer.
SFHA commissioned TC Young to update its GDPR Guidance to reflect the position on year on and so at this year’s Governance Conference, taking place on the 6 & 7 September at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow, Alistair McKendrick from TC Young will explore the key changes of this guidance.

He was promoted to Partner in 2018 and manages a wide variety of cases including construction, contract and property disputes, together with all aspects of housing law for Registered Social Landlords (RSLs), letting agents and private landlords.
As well as GDPR, the conference will look at the SFHA Self Assurance Toolkit, FOI, Innovation, Recruiting Governing Body Members in Action and Organisations that are Stronger on the Other Side.
