Have your say on Planning White Paper

A Planning White Paper, People, Places and Planning, has been launched by the Scottish Government. The White Paper comes at a time when ambitious targets have been set for affordable housing in Scotland, with 50,000 affordable homes (35,000 for social rent) to be delivered in the lifetime of this parliament. 

The SFHA welcomes the launch of the consultation, as it wants to see a planning system that increases housing supply and builds better communities. Planning has a key role to play in enabling housing associations to deliver more affordable and social rented housing and in making better places. The SFHA is seeking members’ views to support and inform its response and is running a number of consultation events. The events are as follows:
