Housing research roadshow: understanding tenant needs
Event to explore tenant needs
Are you involved in housing, place and health, or do you work with client groups with specific housing needs, such as older people, people with disabilities, low-income families, or refugees?
The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations and its partners at the University of Stirling and SFHA would like to invite you to a Civil Society Data Partnership (CSDP) roadshow event on housing on Monday 21 November.
Presentations and workshops will include:
- Understanding tenant needs
- Understanding the role housing plays in health and wellbeing
- Understanding the needs of specific tenant groups: older people, supported housing tenants, disabled tenants, low-income tenants, poverty and welfare, refugees, homelessness, rural issues etc.
- Resources, data sources and funding to support research and intelligence gathering activities
The aim of the housing research roadshow is to bring together housing associations, public and third sector bodies with a housing remit, and academics researching tenant and housing-related issues. It will explore how making better use of data and developing more cross-sectoral collaborations could improve intelligence, and help services meet the needs of different tenant groups.
