SFHA Annual Conference 2018

Housing Scotland: Transforming lives and communities
12 and 13 June 2018 Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow

Housing associations and co-operatives are playing their part in building the largest number of homes since the ‘70s, but how do we ensure the sector is able to deliver the right type of homes, where they are needed, not only to solve the present housing crisis but to provide for generations to come? Securing cross-party political support for long-term funding will be vital in order to realise this.

This year’s SFHA annual conference, entitled Housing Scotland, will explore why the sector and government needs to look beyond meeting the 2021 50,000 affordable homes target and the benefits that a long-term commitment will bring to the nation’s mental and physical health and wellbeing.

Focusing primarily on the themes of 'people' and 'place', the SFHA's flagship event will debate and discuss critical current issues, including:

  • Hear from Minister for Local Government and Housing Kevin Stewart MSP
  • What can we do to end homelessness?
  • It’s not about going digital, it’s about communicating
  • Are we building the right homes in the right places?
  • What does succession planning look like?
  • Have an idea or a story you want to share? Why not pitch your idea and lead a workshop.

If you work in the housing sector, then this conference is a vital event in your calendar. Join  the SFHA on 12 and 13 June at the Radison Blue Hotel in Glasgow. For further details and to book your place – go to the events pages of our website at www.sfha.co.uk/housingscotland18

Do not miss your chance to attend the affordable housing sector’s premier event.
