Innovation and Future Thinking: City living in Jätkäsaari
SFHA is showcasing an innovative ‘housing fair’ event in Finland as part of our Innovation and Future Thinking programme.
SFHA is linking with housing organisations across Europe to share ideas and learning as part of our Innovation and Future Thinking programme. This week, SFHA is showcasing an innovative ‘housing fair’ event in Finland.
A housing fair is a testing platform for various types of housing which showcases the latest innovations in the housing industry, including architecture, building, materials, interior design, furnishing, and landscaping.
Housing Fair Finland has organised a new, urban event: City Living in Jätkäsaari, taking place from 1 to 9 September 2018. The event, run in collaboration with the City of Helsinki, will highlight new innovations in urban living and demonstrate the everyday life of Jätkäsaari residents.
The housing fair is free to attend. Visitors will have the chance to engage in discussions about urban living in the future and to look at life in a city social housing development, from shared spaces and roof-top saunas to courtyards and local parks.
