Hosted by Osprey Housing, Grampian Housing Association and Castlehill Housing Association, this year’s Scottish Rural & Islands Housing Conference takes place in Aberdeenshire and is a must attend for rural housing association leaders and board members.
The conference will look at the key role of rural housing associations in sustaining communities, providing care and support for residents, and providing employment opportunities for young people. It will also be a chance to reflect on the post-2021 investment required in new housing, maintaining and improving existing housing, and ensuring wider community support for tenants.
Scotland's Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning will attend the Conference to deliver a ministerial address, and will also present the award for the RIHAF Development of the Year!
Other highlights of the conference include a debate on the future rural housing agenda and building on best practice using technology to ensure warm homes.

This year’s conference will take on 4 and 5 October at Thainstone House Hotel in Inverurie. The pre-conference RIHAF meeting and study tour will take place on Wednesday 3 October.
Residential places start at £425 for RIHAF members. Day delegate rates start at £190 (RIHAF members) and £245 (non-members).
