Legal training: mid-market rent – private residential tenancy

This course will cover the new private residential tenancy, letting agent registration, the code of practice, the first-tier tribunal and the implications for your mid-market rent tenancies.

SFHA is currently holding another series of legal training that is presented by TC Young. The next session in the series is on ‘mid-market rent – private residential tenancy’.

Registered social landlords involved in mid-market renting using assured tenancies, short assured tenancies or the new private residential tenancy, have been affected by the introduction of the Private Housing (Tenancies) (Scotland) Act 2016 which came into effect in December 2017.

This course will cover the new private residential tenancy, letting agent registration, the code of practice, the first-tier tribunal and the implications for your mid-market rent tenancies.

Housing staff who are involved in the delivery of mid-market rent tenancies will find this session useful.

The training session takes place on 16 May at the SFHA office in Glasgow. Refreshments will be available from 9.30am, with the training commencing at 10am and concluding at 12.30pm.
