Live online streaming for SFHA members: FOI extension training on Monday 20 May

FOI event on Monday 20 May to be live streamed for SFHA members.

Posted In

In light of the forthcoming extension of Freedom of Information legislation to Scottish RSLs, the Scottish Information Commissioner will be delivering free FOI events, hosted and organised by SFHA, for the sector. The training on Monday 20 May at 10:00 will be live streamed online exclusively for SFHA members.

As RSLs work towards the ‘go live’ date of 11 November 2019, it is essential that organisations understand what is required to ensure that they are prepared for the new requirements.

This training is aimed at those who will be responsible for the implementation of FOI and training other staff within their organisation. Full details of the programme are available in the event web page.

How do I watch the online live stream?

SFHA will be sending out a news article in its daily e-newsletter, Housing Scotland Today, on Monday 20 May which will have the live stream player included. To watch the live stream, you will need:

  • to be a SFHA member and registered on the SFHA website
  • to be logged in to watch the live stream
  • headphones or speakers on your computer or device to enble you to listen to, and watch, the live stream
  • Users can watch it on their smart phones or tablets also.

The live stream news article will be available on the SFHA website on Monday 20 May 2019 from 09:50.

Please note that only the main sessions, and not the workshops, will be broadcast.
