The SFHA has announced Bryony Willet, Chief Executive of Maryhill Housing Association, as one of the speakers at its annual conference, Housing Scotland 2019.

Ms Willet was appointed Chief Executive of Maryhill Housing in March 2017. She joined Maryhill in August 2015 as Director of Housing. Prior to that, she worked at Islington Council for nine years, having started as a graduate trainee.

Since joining Maryhill Housing, Ms Willet has led key projects such as the introduction of a new rent structure, the re-procurement of key repairs and maintenance contracts, and structural reviews of the Neighbourhood Team, Senior Management Team and Housing Management Service. She is currently a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing Scotland Board and was previously a Board Director at Hyelm Housing Association in London.

Ms Willet’s expertise includes change management, business planning, strategy development, procurement, regeneration, resident engagement, service development and contract management. She is responsible for leading the organisation and corporate services, including governance, HR and IT.

Ms Willet will lead a workshop with Shelley Hutton, Customer Service and Research Manager at Castle Rock Edinvar Housing Association, on ‘designing the customer journey’. This session will allow delegates to take inspiration from organisations who have produced great services by putting people first; and gather some new practical tools and approaches which you can put into practice in your organisation.

The SFHA’s flagship event, Housing Scotland 2019, takes place on 11 and 12 June at the newly refurbished Radisson Blu Hotel in central Glasgow. Residential places start from £595 for SFHA members and £950 for non-members. You can also attend the event as a day delegate for as little as £280.

Take advantage of the SFHA’s current offer and book three day places to receive a fourth day place free.
