New: further legal training sessions announced
The SFHA is delighted to announce another series of legal training that will be delivered by TC Young.
The SFHA is delighted to announce another series of legal training that will be delivered by TC Young.
As well as covering subjects of interest to housing management staff, the training will also benefit factoring, governance and development staff.
Training sessions will take place as follows:
- 19 Feb Factoring – the act, the code and the tribunal
- 27 feb when tenants lose capacity
- 5 March Who gets your homes? allocations, assignations,
sublets, exchanges and successions - 23 April Development focused risk
- 16 May MMR – private residential tenancy
- 5 June Bankruptcy, trust deeds and debt arrangement schemes
There will also be further training on subjects, including:
- Good governance
- Debt recovery
- Development service agreements
Dates for the above topics are yet to be arranged.
All training sessions take place at the SFHA office in Glasgow. Refreshments will be available from 9.30am, with the training commencing at 10am and concluding at 12.30pm.
The delegate fee for all sessions is £99 for SFHA members, which includes attendance, course materials and refreshments. Limited non-members places are available at a cost of £119.
