Offsite construction - Share your views

Scottish Government and Construction Scotland Innovation Centre are seeking evidence on the pros and cons of offsite construction.

Posted In

Do you have views or experience in relation to affordable housing and offsite housing construction?

The Scottish Government and the Construction Scotland Innovation Centre have a joint project on offsite housing construction. Part of the project aims to provide a clear evidence base of the pros and cons of these approaches so that the Scottish Government – and the wider affordable housing sector – can make informed policy decisions for the future.

Edinburgh Napier University has been appointed to lead most of the research and needs to interview stakeholders who have views or experience in relation to the use of offsite construction approaches and technologies and affordable housing.

The interviews will be by phone or in person and will last no more than 20 minutes.

If you are willing to help, please contact Dr Luca Mora (L.Mora@napier.ac.uk) at Edinburgh Napier University.

This work fits in with SFHA’s partnership with CSIC which aims to support housing associations to use offsite construction and digital technology, and to provide the support and advice needed to help them make informed decisions about these technologies.
