Party representatives confirmed for SFHA’s Scottish Parliament election hustings

SFHA has invited representatives from each of Scotland’s main political parties to discuss the social housing sector’s key issues

The political party representatives have now been confirmed for SFHA’s Scottish Parliament election hustings event.

The virtual event, which is taking place on Wednesday 14 April from 15:00 to 16:00, is open to all staff and board members from SFHA member organisations.

SFHA has invited representatives from each of Scotland’s main political parties to discuss the social housing sector’s key issues. Panellists will each have the opportunity to set out their party position and will also answer questions from the audience on key issues.

The representatives taking part in the hustings are as follows:

  • SNP: Kevin Stewart (Housing Minister)
  • Scottish Conservatives: Graham Simpson
  • Scottish Labour: Pauline McNeill (housing spokesperson)
  • Scottish Liberal Democrats: Paul McGarry (housing spokesperson)
  • Scottish Greens: Patrick Harvie (co-leader of Scottish Greens)
