The Housing (Scotland) Amendment Bill is currently being considered by the Scottish Parliament’s Local Government and Communities Committee. This legislation is intended to reverse the reclassification of housing associations as public non financial corporations by the Office of National Statistics, and includes some amendments to the powers of the Scottish Housing Regulator to this end. The Committee is seeking written evidence regarding the bill by 26 October 2017, and SFHA will be submitting a response. Specifically the Scottish Government is asking:
