Scottish Telecare Service Providers' Forum

Telecare service providers across Scotland are being invited to a new bi-annual Scottish Telecare Service Providers' Forum

Posted In

Digital Telecare for Scottish Local Government, the Technology Enabled Care Programme and Technology Enabled Care in Housing (TECH) are jointly hosting a brand new bi-annual Scottish Telecare Service Providers' Forum to bring together telecare service providers across Scotland.

Telecare service providers across Scotland are being invited to a new bi-annual Scottish Telecare Service Providers' Forum which will: provide an opportunity to hear about and contribute to national programmes of work; share, showcase and discuss interesting and/or innovative developments and initiatives at local and national levels, and in the wider TEC sector; build and strengthen the telecare network across Scotland.

The first forum will feature an introduction from Digital Telecare, TEC and TECH. They will outline the work they are responsible for and how they are working together to achieve positive outcomes for people in receipt of telecare services. Attendees will also hear from Scotland Excel which is working on a new model for purchasing telecare equipment and Andy Grayland from the Digital Office for Scottish Local Government on the recently launched Assessed Supplier Scheme and telecare service providers who have undertaken the digital telecare transition journey and recently gone live with their services. An interactive session on ‘reimagining telecare’ will feature on the agenda to provide an opportunity for attendees to contribute to shaping our ambitions for telecare.

Date: Wednesday 21 April 2021
Time: 10:0012:30
Location: Microsoft Teams (virtual event)
