The Court of Session has dismissed the case raised by Glasgow Asylum seekers to prevent evictions without a court order. Read Zhan McIntyre’s response
The case was raised when SERCO planned to evict more than 300 asylum seekers in Glasgow, which sparked a campaign from charities and members of the public. Following some pressure, SERCO paused its plans to change locks on asylum seekers properties and a case was raised at the Court of Session on behalf of two asylum seekers.
