Service transformation – moving services online

25 & 26 September, The Studio, Glasgow.

Posted In

Tenants should be able to manage their own housing in the same way as they manage the rest of their lives – shopping, social life, and banking. But is the housing sector is ready to go digital?

Many housing providers are currently embarking on business transformation journeys of different shapes and sizes. Digital technology can automate transactional processes, allowing housing staff to have less paperwork to deal with and more time to spend providing great personalised services.

Digital technology can give more control to tenants, helping them to access information, book services and receive reminders of appointments, visits, or medication they need to take. It can also help housing associations to keep people and communities connected digitally, socially and emotionally.

This year’s Housing Management Conference will give delegates the chance to hear from organisations who have been through the process of digital transformation and moving services online, and what this has meant for their customers and their housing management teams.

Speaking about the conference, SFHA Innovation and Future Thinking Lead Lorna Wilson said:

“Through our new Housing Innovation Programme, SFHA is bringing housing associations together to share and develop new ideas and approaches for the digital future. Delegates at the Housing Management Conference will have the chance to hear from others about digital services and the innovation programme, and to share their thoughts on the future.”

This year’s Housing Management Conference takes place on the 25 and 26 September at The Studio in Glasgow.

As well as exploring moving services online, the conference will also discuss the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014, Universal Credit, Rapid Rehousing, finding a way through conflict, and many more key challenges facing housing management professionals.
