Sessions announced for Scottish Factoring Network Conference
29 November, Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow.
An SFHA, SHARE and GWSF partnership forms the Scottish Factoring Network which provides support for housing practitioners and social housing organisations that are involved in delivering factoring services to owners.
This year’s conference will open with a motivational keynote speech by Gavin Oattes, motivational speaker, author and comedian.
Jim Bauld from TC Young will provide delegates of the conference with a legal update and Stephen Leetion from the Scottish Government, Shona Mitchell from SFHA and Debra Campbell from SHARE will take part in a panel session on the state of the sector.
The conference boasts many informative workshops, including best practice in working with your local authority, simple steps to improve your factoring service, managing risks and a mock FTT panel.
The conference takes place on 29 November and will return to the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow City Centre. The Grand Central Hotel is close to all transport links, including Central Station, Queen Street Station and Buchanan Bus Station.
The delegate fee starts at £239 for members of SFHA, SHARE and GWSF (£329 for non-members) which includes attendance, lunch and all refreshments.
