SFHA Board Elections 2018-19
SFHA are seeking candidates to join the Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity for our members who wish to network and shape the sector.
There will be 7 vacancies this year. Each SFHA member belongs to one of four constituencies:
- City of Glasgow
- Other Cities
- Other Urban Areas
- Rural and Islands
Below lists the number of vacancies in each constituency:
City of Glasgow - Two

Rural and Islands - Two
SFHA therefore invites Members to nominate people who can contribute the knowledge, skills and experience required to serve on the Board of SFHA.

| Completed nominations forms to be received by: | Monday, 30th July 2018 |
| Nominees will be publicised on Housing Scotland Today on: | Wednesday, 1st August 2018 |
| If a ballot is required these will be issued on: | Friday, 3rd August 2018 |
| Annual General Meeting Packs distributed on no later than: | Tuesday, 14th August 2018 |
| Postal Ballots to be received by SFHA by: | Friday, 24th August 2018 |
| Annual General Meeting Proxy & Confirmation of Attendance forms to be received by SFHA by: | Friday, 24 August 2018 |
| Annual General Meeting (New Board Directors will be announced at the AGM) | Wednesday, 29th August 2018 |
Meetings
Board Directors currently meet not less than 5 times a year. Agreed dates for 2018 are:
26 September and 21/22 November 2018
Dates for 2019 Board meetings will be agreed at the September Board meeting.
Board Directors also take part in Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.
Nomination papers have been sent out to all SFHA members on the 1st June 2018 seeking candidates to sit on the SFHA Board. The Board composition is made up of Governing Body members and/or Executive Members (Chief Executive/Director) from SFHA’s membership.
