SFHA, CIH Scotland and Shelter Scotland host webinar on new research into affordable housing need in Scotland
Wednesday 10 June from 11:00-12:00.
On Wednesday 10 June, SFHA, Shelter Scotland, and CIH Scotland are holding a webinar on their new research (launching on 9 June) into affordable housing need in Scotland.
These findings will set out the number of new affordable homes Scotland needs to build between 2021 and 2026.
At this levent, you’ll hear about demographic and housing market trends in the Scottish housing system and what this means in terms of access to affordable homes in the short-to medium-term.
In 2015, the organisations’ joint research helped to inform the current affordable housing supply programme, and the study has been repeated with the aim of setting a new robust target that will meet existing and future need.
The event will hear from one of the report’s researcher Ed Ferrari, Director of the Centre for Regional Economic and Social Research at Sheffield Hallam, as well as Sally Thomas, SFHA Chief Executive, and Alison Watson, Director of Shelter Scotland. It will be chaired by Callum Chomczuk, National Director, CIH Scotland
The event is taking place online on Wednesday 10 June from 11:00-12:00. Book your free place via this link.
