The next SFHA Commercial Forum will take place on Friday 23 November, and will feature discussion on the topic of ‘Procurement - ESPD Electronic Module in PCS’.
This is a free quarterly forum and is exclusively available to SFHA Commercial and Supporting Associates.
Scottish Government has recently launched the new ‘ESPD Electronic Module in PCS’. The Module enables RSLs to create an Electronic ESPD request with PCS, meaning that they are able to include your selection criteria beside the relevant question within the ESPD itself. This means that they do not need to include your selection criteria in the contract notice and can refer suppliers to the ESPD instead.
In your Supplier PCS profile, from 17th October 2018 suppliers can now store the “means of proof” documents that are frequently requested by buyers as part of public procurement process, and make them available to buyers within an ESPD response. Suppliers will be able to set reminders to let them know in advance that a document is due to expire and needs to be updated or replaced and this is not only for use with the new ESPD Scotland module in PCS
At this forum, Dougie Gold from SPA/SFHA will provide an overview of the ESPD Module and provide details and a basic understanding of the whole ESPD Module process. The forum will be followed by a Q&A session, so we are asking all attendees to send in their questions before 16th of November, a week prior to the session.

Taking place at the SFHA Office in Glasgow, the forum will begin with refreshments at 8:45. The forum will conclude at around 11.00 am to allow questions.
The event is exclusively available to SFHA Commercial and Supporting Associates and is FREE to attend. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
