SFHA continues its partnership with Community Recovery Fund
It has been announced as part of measures to support community based organisations provide planning in light of the COVID-19 impact.
SFHA are delighted to announce that following its work with Scottish Government’s Supporting Communities Fund, they will continue this relationship as a Community Recovery Fund partner.
Seeing first hand the great work that its members were able to provide to mitigate against the immediate impact of COVID-19, SFHA would encourage members to consider the Communities Recovery Fund. It has been announced as part of the measures to support community based organisations provide more medium term basis for planning in light of the COVID-19 impact.
Following some of the principles for existing community groups and anchors that require funding to carry out support that their area needs, this provides the next steps in the recovery within communities. Albeit a smaller fund than Supporting Communities, the application process is now open, and encourages organisations requiring specific funding to be able to recover from the social and economic crisis brought about by COVID-19, further details are available on the SCVO guidance page.
In order for housing associations to be able to tackle poverty and demonstrate the impact they make in communities across Scotland, please contact Social Insight Lead, Michael McLaughlin if you wish to discuss ways in which this funding could support a project you are planning.
