Preventing homelessness – the right to an adequate home
25 August 2022, 09:30–16:30, MacDonald Holyrood Hotel
In its Housing to 2040 Strategy, which set out a vision for housing in 2040 and how to get there, the Scottish Government said that everyone should have the right to an adequate home. The government has also recently consulted on extending duties to prevent homelessness.
On 25 August, SFHA and Homeless Network Scotland will hold a joint conference which will allow delegates to hear from speakers from the housing, homelessness and third sectors on policy and best practice.
Virtual Engagement Conference
7 September, 09:30–15:30
All registered social landlords in Scotland must have a tenant participation strategy which will enable 'continuous improvement in landlords’ performance in supporting and enabling tenants to participate’. Effective participation allows tenants to influence decisions about the housing services they receive. It gives landlords better links to the community and the opportunity to work with others.

In-person Housing Management Conference
4 October, 09:30–16:00, Dynamic Earth
Join housing management colleagues from across Scotland to discuss and exchange ideas about the issues and opportunities facing the social housing sector.
