SFHA meets fundraising target for Sleep in the Park

SFHA now hopes to raise even more funds.

The SFHA is delighted to announce that it has reached its fundraising target of £3,000 for taking part in Social Bite’s Sleep in the Park – and now hopes to raise even more funds for the cause of ending homelessness.

SFHA Head of Business Development Diane Cooper said:

“We would like to thank everyone who has sponsored us and helped the SFHA team reach our target – we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our sponsors.

“We now aim to keep going and raise even more funds that will go towards Social Bite’s aim of ending homelessness.”

The federation is part of a 9,000-strong crowd, which includes several of its members and sector associates, that will sleep in Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens for one night on 9 December in aid of Social Bite’s Sleep in the Park. The mission of the event is to create a movement to eradicate homelessness in Scotland within the next five years.

The SFHA team comprises Head of Business Development Diane Cooper, Head of Public Affairs Sarah Boyack, Policy and Public Affairs Adviser Shona Mitchell, and Board Director Teresa McNally.
