SFHA nearly at Sleep in the Park fundraising target
Federation thanks its generous sponsors.
The SFHA has nearly met its £3,000 fundraising target for taking part in Social Bite’s Sleep in the Park event. The federation would like to thank everyone who has sponsored it so far.
The SFHA is currently at number 43 of corporate fundraisers.
The federation is part of a 9,000-strong crowd, which includes several of its members and sector associates, that will sleep in Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens for one night on 9 December in aid of Social Bite’s Sleep in the Park. The mission of the event is to create a movement to eradicate homelessness in Scotland within the next five years.
The SFHA team comprises Head of Business Development Diane Cooper, Head of Public Affairs Sarah Boyack, Policy and Public Affairs Adviser Shona Mitchell, and Board Director Teresa McNally.
SFHA Head of Business Development Diane Cooper said:
“We are delighted at the amount that we have raised so far and would like to thank all of our generous sponsors; we really appreciate every donation for this great cause.
“The team is excited about taking part, and there’s not that long to go now, but there’s still time if anyone else would like to sponsor us and help raise vital funds for Social Bite’s mission to end homelessness.”
