SFHA representatives were delighted to welcome Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to their stall at the SNP Spring Conference in Aberdeen.

The First Minister spent some time hearing about the current priorities of SFHA on behalf of members from Head of Public Affairs Sarah Boyack, Policy Lead Zhan McIntyre and Policy and Public Affairs Adviser Shona Mitchell.

Over the course of the two-day event, SFHA staff and Board Director Teresa McNally enjoyed many discussions with MSPs, MPs and councillors as well as candidates for the upcoming local authority elections.

The big issues to come up included welfare reform, the 50,000 affordable homes target, energy efficiency and how good quality housing can assist with good health.

The SFHA team who attended the conference would like to thank delegates for their interest in the priorities of our members.
